THE HIDDEN CORNER RESTAURANT

The licensed restaurant is situated in our guest house and is well known for providing fresh local produce.  We have seating capacity for a maximum of 14 people with two lounges for pre drinks or after dinner coffee and liquors. We also carry an extensive range of Scottish single malt whiskies as well as a good selection of wines.

DIETRY REQUIREMNETS

When booking please let us know if there are any dietry requirements as we cater for all and will provide a Vegetairan or Vegan selection upon request we also can supply a Gluten free menu but we will need to know in advance as we like to obtain some idea as to indivduals likes and dislikes so that we achive a memorable visit. 

OPENING TIMES

Our normal opening time are: Thursday to Saturday 6.30pm to 9.30pm (Last orders)

We do cater for private functions from Monday to Wednesday but the booking must have a minimum of 8 persons.

Starters

Confit of Wild Salmon

Lochmuir Salmon, smoked salmon and prawns blended in lemon butter with herbs and spices.

Roguefort Cheese with Poached Pears

Pears poached in grape juice on a roguefort cheese salad.

Our highly praised patè served on a simple salad with parma ham and garlic toast.

Smoked fish, asparagus and prawns masked in a mornay sauce and served in a pastry case on a pool of tomato salsa.

Herb Crusted Lemon Sole

Grilled with lemon butter and served with fuits of the sea.

Gressingham Duck and Rannoch Smoked Goose

Pan fried duck breast and oak smoked goose with pomegranate and cherry sauce.

Poached in cider with clove and star anis and glazed with chilli pinapple.

Local reared lamb braised with seasonal vegtables, rosemary and mint.
